When it was time to choose a career path, I decided on graphic design. But I have always had a love for illustration but just never dove into it myself. Working at a graphic design job, I practiced and experimented and once I realized that illustration was becoming something that I was excited about, I decided that it was time to share it with others as well.

 

     The name Lulumaid is a mash up of me. “Lulu” coming from my childhood nickname given to me by my family, and “maid” coming from my love of mermaids. The name popped into my head one night and it just felt right. The brand look basically made itself from that point. Finally, I made an Etsy shop, and continue to work on illustration projects in my spare time.
